An undetermined number of graves in the Servian cemetery, Asian cemetery, and Native cemetery were moved when the Bureau of Public Roads constructed Douglas Highway to Cowee Creek in 1934. A news article stated that the bodies were interred in the present City Cemetery. The Catholic, Native, Asian, and Russian Orthodox Cemeteries are owned by the Catholic Church.
No specific information was found relative to the establishment of this cemetery however the earliest date shown on a marker is 1907. There are only three identifiable grave markers and about 11 ground depressions which appear to be graves.
One of the markers is inscribed in Japanese, one is in Japanese and English and the other is inscribed in, what appears to be, Slavik. One of the graves had an elaborate wooden picket fence surrounding it and some of the picket pieces remain but are deteriorated.
