Stowell, George

George Stowell was a charter member of the Juneau Men's Igloo.

Stowell was born in March 1871 in Massachusetts.

He came to Alaska in 1896 and was located at Sum Dum in 1900 where he was a miner. He later served as Chief Clerk in the US Surveyor General office.

Stowell moved to Portland, Oregon in 1916 where he died on August 10, 1919.
