Marie Artemisia Jameson was a Charter Member of Juneau Igloo No. 6.

She was born in Hart, Kentucky on January 14, 1858.

She was married to James F. Lemon who died sometime before 1880.

She was remarried to Charles James Skuse in Seattle on May 2, 1911. Their son George Dewey was born in Nebraska in August 1895.

Their other children; son Charles L was born on February 15, 1898, Donald Wesley born in 1905 and daughter Florence born 1899 were born in Juneau, Alaska from a previous marriage between Charles and Florence W. Waters who left Charles in 1906.

Marie died in Washington on September 29, 1951.
