Pianfetti, James "Jim"

James "Jim" Pianfetti was born in 1872 and came from Locano, Citta Metropolitana di Torino, Piemonte, Italy and Lachana, Canavese, Italy.

His wife, Mary Pianfetti, preceded him in death.

He was employed at the Treadwell Mine.

Pianfetti was a member of the Douglas Aerie No. 117, Fraternal Order of the Eagles, who took care of his four daughters after his death. His was the first death in the Douglas Aerie, which had organized 2.5 years before,

He died on January 17, 1904 at age 31 after a short illness of cosumption, and was buried in the Douglas Catholic Cemetery. Revenend Father Bougis S.J. officiated.
