Carroll, Henry
Henry Carroll was born January 11, 1863 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
He died October 2, 1912 at age 49, of sudden heart failure.
Funeral services were held at the Douglas Catholic Church with Father Bruckert officiating before he was buried in the Douglas City Cemetery.
Berry, Donald
Donald Berry was born in St. Andrews, New Brunswick, Canada. Had a married daughter who was living in San Francisco at the time of his death.
He was a millwork and carpenter who worked in mining camps in Boston, Virginia City, Nevada, and California.
He came to Alaska in January 16, 1886, on the steamer Idaho. He constructed the 240 mill at Treadwell Mine.
He died July 24, 1903 in Douglas at age 69. Services were held at the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church with Reverend Christian A. Roth presiding, and was buried in the Douglas City Cemetery.
Armstrong, Robert
Robert Armstrong was born in Belfast, County Down, Northern Ireland.
He worked at the Treadwell Mine.
Armstrong died December, 1911 after shooting himself in the lung, being treated at St. Anns Hospital, and is buried in the Douglas City Cemetery.
Reverend J.H. Warmanen officiated at the funeral.
Anderson, A.P.
A.P. Anderson was born in Sweden in 1863.
He died on August 16, 1903 along with Thore Overland at the 440 Level of the Treadwell Mine when a slab fell, killing them instantly.
The funeral was held at the Douglas Congregational Church with Reverend Thomas Coyle presiding. He was buried at the Douglas City Cemetery.
Dazadelli, Albert
Albert Dazadelli was born in Italy in 1887.
He worked at the Mexican Mine of the Treadwell Mine.
He died March 2, 1910, in an explosion which took the lives of 36 other miners as well. The explosion took place on the 1,000 foot level in the powder magazine while the miners were waiting for the hoist to take them to the surface at the end of their shift.

Archer, Sarah Anne
Sarah Anne Archer was born in Flintstone, England on July 1846. Her father was from Wales, her mother England. She immigrated to the United States in 1872.
She was married to Michael B. Archer and they both came to Alaska from Healey, Idaho in September 1885.
Archer owned a store in Union City which was located west of the current Douglas Bridge. They also had a small dairy in 1903.
She died on October 25,1904, her obituary spoke strongly of her character, and is buried in the Douglas City Cemetery.

Anderson, George E.
George E. Anderson was born in Bodie, California on July 22, 1882,
He moved to Douglas in 1889 when he was six years old.
He worked as a miner at Treadwell Mine.
Anderson died on January30, 1901, in an explosion at the 700 Foot Mine.
It was said that his funeral was the largest on Douglas Island. He was buried in the Douglas City Cemetery.

Runquist, John
John Runquist was born in Finland on February 24, 1876.
Runquist was married to Hilda May Runquist and had three children, including Anard Runquist.
He came to Treadwell Mine around 1900 and worked as a miner at the Ready Bullion Mine. Runquist aslo worked at the Alaska Juneau Mine as a drilling contractor and later as machinist. He was popularly known as "the machine doc."
He died on December 9, 1937 and was buried in the Douglas Eagles Cemetery.
Edminson, James
James Edminson was born in Scotland in 1879.
He was a miner at the Treadwell and Alaska Juneau Mines. In 1921 he was working at the Treadwell Foundry.
He died in Seattle, Washington on March 14, 1944 at around age 64, and buried in the Douglas Eagles Cemetery.
Yoshitaro, Kitakojima
Kitakojima Yoshitaro was born in 1871 in Japan. He came to Douglas around 1898, where he was employed at the Treadwell boarding house on July 16.
He died August 2, 1900 at age 28 in at St Ann's Hospital in Douglas. He left a father, mother, wife and child in Japan, and a brother on Douglas Island.
He is buried in the Douglas Asian Cemetery, with Reverend H. Hammond Cole conducting the service. 34 of his countrymen attended the funeral.
