Baggen, George
George Baggen was born in Norway.
He married Olga Sandbery, who was also from Norway. They had George Baggen, Junior, L.C. Baggen, and Betty Baggen-Vrooman.
They immigrated to Juneau, Alaska.
Vrooman, Betty
Betty Vrooman was initiated in the POA Juneau Igloo on January 28, 1955, Roll Number 413.
She was born in Juneau, Alaska on 7 May 1923 to George Baggen and Olga Sandbery, both from Norway.
Betty married James R. Vrooman on April 19, 1943 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. They had two girls, Lynda and Jamie, both born in Annette where they lived at the CAA Station for two years. She also lived in Sitka seven years, Fairbanks two years, Gustavus two years, Yakutat two year, Anchorage two years. She worked as a housewife.
Her POA Membership Application suggests she was 5'2" 118 lbs, with medium complexion, blue-green eyes, light brown hair, and was in good health. She was endorsed by Joan M. Baggen and May Wright, and confirmed by Membership Committee Members Edna Anderson, Leona McKinnon and Odelia Light.
Her relatives included George Baggen, Junior of Sitka, L.C. Baggen of Juneau, and Elsie Johnson of Granite, New Mexico.
Betty died in Sitka on 11 February 1975.
Vanwart, Mrs .Edwin
Mrs. Edwin Vanwart was born in Yorkshire, England on 30 November 1857. She described herself in her POA application as 4'8", 135 lbs, with blue eyes, grey hair, fair complexion and a medium high forehead.
She first came to Juneau in July 1919.
She was married to Edwin Vanwart and was a housewife.
Her nearest relative was Mrs H. Whitehead of Prospect Lake, V.F. B.C.
Her POA Membership Application was endorsed by Ms. Jus H Skiekitt (sp) and Ms. M. P. Berry. Her membership was favorably accepted by Mary McMongale, Josephine Langreth, and Mrs. J. McCleul (sp).
She died on 2 September 1930.

Anna Lousia Hendriksan married August E Hendriksan and had two children Lans Edvin Hendriksan and Alma Ideal Hendriksan. Last name may be spelled Hendrikson for all family members. They lived in Treadwell City.

Lans Edvin Hendricksen-Hendriksan-Hendrickson parents were August Emil Hendricksen-Hendriksan-Hendrickson and Anna Alma Louise Hendricksen-Hendriksan-Hendrickson. He had a sister, Alma Ideal Hendricksen - Hendriksan - Hendrickson- WIldes. They lived in Treadwell City.

August Emil Hendricksen - Hendriksan - Hendrickson was born July 18, 1873 in Finland.
He married Anna Alma Lousia Hallonquist-Hendricksen - Hendriksan - Hendrickson and had two children Lans Edvin Hendricksen - Hendriksan - Hendrickson and Alma Ideal Hendricksen - Hendriksan - Hendrickson - Wildes. They lived in Treadwell City.
He died May 20, 1905 age 31, funeral services were held at the Congregational Church with the Rev. J.A. Levin officiating. He was buried in the Douglas City Cemetery.
Hayes, Vivian May
Vivian May Hayes was born on June 24, 1915 in Alaska to John Wesley Hayes of Union City, Pennsylvania, and Ethel Eva Hamilton-Hayes of Crawford Country, Pennsylvania.
She died on December 23, 1915 at age 5 months of petussis. G.F. Midford served as undertaker. She was buried in the Douglas City Cemetery.
Gribble, Richard
Richard Gribble was born May 21, 1857 in Redruth, Cornwall Unitary Authority, Cornwall, England. He moved to America when he was 15, living in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Colorado, Montana, six years in Juneau before moving to Douglas. He had a wife, three sons and three daughters. They lived on North Third Street in Douglas.
He was a member of the Butte Lodge of the A.O.U.W.
He died October 21, 1904 of consumption at age 47 and is buried in the Douglas City Cemetery. The funeral was held at the M. E. Church, officiated by the Rev. L.H. Pedersen.
