Runquist, John
John Runquist was born in Finland on February 24, 1876.
Runquist was married to Hilda May Runquist and had three children, including Anard Runquist.
He came to Treadwell Mine around 1900 and worked as a miner at the Ready Bullion Mine. Runquist aslo worked at the Alaska Juneau Mine as a drilling contractor and later as machinist. He was popularly known as "the machine doc."
He died on December 9, 1937 and was buried in the Douglas Eagles Cemetery.
Holmquist, Mary

Mary Stenfors was born on August 11, 1885 in Nykarleby, Finland.
She married John Holmquist. Their first son, Leonard was born in Finland On August 15, 1905.
Mary immigrated to the United States in 1907. Shortly after her arrival in Juneau their son Ernest was born in Alaska in January of 1908 and Walter Ludvik "Willie" was born in Alaska on April 14, 1916.
Her husband died in 1926 and She and her son Walter were living in Eagle Harbor, Washington
in 1930 where she worked as a cook according to the Census.
She died on July 26, 1949 Juneau.

Perelle, Lena
Lena Lakso was a Charter Member of Juneau Igloo No. 6.
She was born on August 17, 1875 in Kotila, Finland. She immigrated to the United States in 1894 and was naturalized in 1900.
Lena married John Ellini Perelle who was a mining engineer. They were living in Valdez during the 1910 U.S. Federal Census. He died November 20, 1918 in Juneau.
She listed her occupation as servant in 1920.
Lena died in Juneau in August 15, 1940 in Juneau and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery.
